Cranberry-Maple Slow Cooker Oatmeal

If you always feel rushed in the morning and feel like there’s no time to prepare a healthy breakfast, PROBLEM SOLVED! Throw these sweet, comforting ingredients in your crock pot the night before, set for 6 hours, and never skip the most important meal of the day again!


  • 8 cups water
  • 2 cups steel-cut oats
  • 2/3 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • ½ cup maple syrup 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp table salt
  • 3 tbsp toasted, slivered almonds

Combine all of the ingredients except the almonds in a 5- to 6- quart slow cooker. Cook on low ~6 hours, depending on desired creaminess. Stir well, and when you’re ready to eat add almonds and you have a tasty, wholesome breakfast to start your day!
