Fettuccine Alfredo With Lobster
Everyone loves Fettuccine, so why not make it
tonight! But with a little more flavour!
- 1 cup thinly sliced fennel
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp flour
- ¼ cup dry vermouth
- ¾ cup cream
- 1 tspDijon
- 1/8 salt
- 2 lobster tails, shelled and coarsely chopped
- ½ 350-g pkg fresh fettuccine
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp butter and fennel. Cook, stirring frequently, until fennel is soft, ~ 4 min. Stir in 2 tsp flour and cook 1-2 min. Add vermouth and cook until completely evaporated, ~ 2min. Whisk in cream, 1 tspDijonand 1/8 salt, stirring occasionally until saucy, ~ 2 min. Now add lobster and simmer ~ 3 min.Cook fettuccine in boiling water until noodles are al dente, Drain, stir into sauce along with lemon juice. And garnish with snipped chives.
