Sedentary is the new Smoking!

Put another way – leading an inactive lifestyle is just as bad for your health as smoking!!  Yikes!!  Talk about an impact statement!  I attended a presentation with Michael Boyce, VP of GoodLife Fitness, yesterday which raised this comparison.  Michael spoke to how making small, positive healthy choices can result in BIG rewards!!

I think we all want to be Happy and Healthy and determining how you’ll get there is the first step, so what would it take for you to be Happy and Healthy??  Being stronger, feeling better about yourself, having more energy, all of the above?

Great – now you know what you’re striving for, now how are you going to get there?  Set S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific/Measureable/Achievable/Relevant/Time-Bound).

Whether you join a gym like GoodLife, participate in Wellness Centre activities, or take our lunch break away from you desk make YOU the priority!  Make your small, positive change today and enjoy your BIG rewards!

Here’s to a Happy & Health you!
