How to Set New Year’s Resolutions that Work!


Do you set New Year’s resolutions? Have you established your New Year’s resolutions for 2016?  Do they happen to closely resemble those from 2015? It is not a coincidence that for many, each year’s list remains similar to lists of years past.  For a variety of reasons, achieving and maintaining those desired behaviour changes can prove difficult, to say the least. However, as Dr. Evans highlights, studying the behavior of people in the New Year, offers insight into the phenomenon of setting goals and achieving a fresh start.

This holiday season, we hope that you find time and space for reflection, mindfulness, and awareness of the events of the past year, as well as how you hope to proceed with new goals and aspirations during the upcoming year.  Before finalizing your resolution(s) list this week, watch this video by Dr. Evans….it might just help you choose goals that will really work!
