Greek Yogurt with Blackberry and Blueberry Sauce

This is a great snack and is a healthier option than buying yogurts that already have fruit at the bottom. I prefer greek yogurt to regular yogurt because its thicker and creamier. It also has nutritional benefits of being higher in prortien and lower in sodium and carbohydrates


  • 2/3 cup blackberries
  • 2/3 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups plain greek yogurt


  • Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Let boil for about 10 minutes until it thickens and then add the butter.
  • Seperate the yogurt into bowls and top with the sauce.
