Greek Yogurt with Blackberry and Blueberry Sauce
This is a great snack and is a healthier option than buying yogurts that already have fruit at the bottom. I prefer greek yogurt to regular yogurt because its thicker and creamier. It also has nutritional benefits of being higher in prortien and lower in sodium and carbohydrates
- 2/3 cup blackberries
- 2/3 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cups plain greek yogurt
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Let boil for about 10 minutes until it thickens and then add the butter.
- Seperate the yogurt into bowls and top with the sauce.
